CHESS MOVES!!

Pawns

Pawns move advance one square forward and capture on the two squares diagonally ahead. The frist Move for any pawn can move forward one or two squares.

Rooks

Rooks can move any amount of squares horizontally and vertically in any direction until another piece is in the way, but it can capture an opponent piece(s) on these squares.

Knights

Knights are the only pieces that can move over other pieces. They move in any direction 2 squares horizontally and then 1 in either perpendicular direction (The move is like an L). They capture the opponent piece(s) on the final square.

Bishops

Bishops move diagonally in any direction any number of squares, untel another piece is in the way. If theres an opponent piece(s), in the way, it can be capture.

Queen

Queen moves horizontally, vertically or diagonally, untel another piece is in the way. She captures opponent piece(s) on these squares.

King

King moves one square in any direction and captures opponent piece(s) on these squares. The objective of the game is to capture the king. The king is not allowed to move into a square where a opponents piece can capture it. Unless at the beginning of the game both players again that the king can move on its own risk.

Castling

Castling is a special defensive move. It is the only move when two pieces moves at the same time.

      1. It can only happen if there are no pieces between the king and the rook.
      2. Neither king nor rook may have moved from its original position, and did not move back to the original position.
      3. There can be no opposing piece that can capture the king in his original square, the square he moves through or the square that he ends at.

The king moves two squares toward the rook he intends to castle with (this may be either rook). The rook then moves to the square through which the king passed.
